Situation: The Department of Defense has dramatically increased its use of unmanned vehicles to keep soldiers out of harm’s way. The remote "drivers" of unmanned vehicles have limited visibility due to the use of traditional, narrow field of view cameras. Improved situational awareness is required to navigate unmanned vehicles more effectively from remote sites.
Solution: RemoteReality provides remote operators with 360-degree video surveillance to improve situational awareness and vehicle navigation. The video stream can be bandwidth optimized to accommodate operations over long distances.
Example: RemoteReality partnered with the Naval Sea Systems Command to provide the U.S. Coast Guard with real-time video surveillance from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and unmanned surface vehicles (USV).
